Our Vision

The Covington Difference.

Covington Theological Seminary was founded and chartered as a Seminary in September of 1977.  For over 40 years Covington has provided solid Bible training for students across the United States and around the world.  Our commitment is to meet you where you are in your calling and ministry motivations and to design a quality program of study to address your individual and specific needs. That commitment is grounded in the Word of God and the truth that transforms us in the good news of the Gospel. We are intentionally and uniquely structured to ensure that CTS operates and exists to train leaders for the glory of God and the good of His Church.

The Covington difference is best experienced first hand but is not hard to see. Our physical footprint may be small but our impact is global. Currently we have extensions in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina as well as multiple international extensions.

We also offer online and distance learning options to help meet students where they are. CTS also offers customized curriculum and training options for churches through our Church Partnership Program. Students can take advantage of our certificate programs and other additional training. CTS is a fully accredited institution committed to training leaders and impacting eternity.

One of the greatest differences of CTS is our availability and affordability. Covington offers a standard of excellence in Biblical education to students without the constraints and demands of other seminaries. A student can earn their degree without leaving their family, ministry, job, or home. The Covington Difference is also seen and appreciated in our costs. Students can attend CTS for a fraction of the cost of average seminaries of other universities. We are Covington Theological Seminary. Contact us to experience the difference for yourself.
